Terms of use

What you can expect from Tobb, and what we expect from you. Written to be read once, not skimmed past.

Who you are dealing with

Tobb makes the software a practice uses to run its appointments, its records and its messages. We are not your doctor and we do not provide care. The clinic you book with does, and what happens between you and them is theirs and yours. These terms cover the part that is ours: this site, your account, the booking, and the payment rail underneath it.

What this is

A place to find a practitioner, book with them, see what you booked, pay, and read what a clinician has deliberately shared with you. It is not your medical record. A clinic holds that, and you see a part of it here only when somebody at the clinic releases it to you.

Your account

You sign in with a code sent to your email or phone, not a password. Keep that inbox to yourself: anybody who can read it can read your appointments. One account, one person. Do not book for somebody else from your own account. If you need to manage a relative's care, tell the clinic so they can arrange it properly. If you think somebody else has reached your account, tell the clinic straight away.

Booking, changing, cancelling

A booking is with the clinic. They set their hours, their prices, how much notice a cancellation needs and whether a deposit comes back, and their rules are the ones that apply, not ours. The screen tells you what they are before you confirm. Some bookings are held for a few minutes while you pay. If the hold runs out the slot goes back to everybody else, which is why the page counts it down in front of you. Turning up matters. A slot you do not use is one another patient could not have.

Paying

You pay the clinic, not us. The payment goes to their own provider and we never hold the money. Whether you can pay here or only at the desk is the clinic's choice. Refunds are the clinic's decision under their own policy, and a refund goes back the way it came. We never see your full card number. It goes from your browser straight to the payment provider, and no screen here accepts one.

What you can see here

Your appointments, what you paid, the messages you exchanged with the clinic, and any record a clinician has shared with you. Nothing clinical appears by default. A note, a prescription, a document or a diagnosis reaches this portal only when somebody at the clinic releases it, or when you ask and they agree. Consultation notes are never released automatically, whatever else is shared: that is always a separate, deliberate decision by the clinician who wrote them. If you want something you cannot see, ask for it here. The clinic has to answer.

This is not medical advice

Nothing on this site is a diagnosis, a recommendation, or a substitute for seeing somebody. A directory listing is not an endorsement, and a specialty on a profile is what that practitioner told us they do. If you are not sure which kind of doctor you need, ask a clinic rather than guessing from a list.

In an emergency, do not use this site

If somebody is seriously ill or hurt, call your local emergency number or go to a hospital. This is a booking site. Messages are read during opening hours, an appointment may be days away, and nothing here is watched for urgency.

Reviews

You can review a practitioner you have actually seen, and only that one. Say what happened, in your own words. Leave out anybody else's health information, the full name of a member of staff, an accusation you cannot stand behind, and anything that would identify another patient. We remove reviews that carry those, and reviews that are not about a real visit. A review is yours. You can ask for it to be taken down.

Using the site properly

Do not try to reach records that are not yours, copy the directory wholesale, probe the site for weaknesses, or use it to advertise. Repeatedly booking slots you do not intend to attend is the one thing here that takes an appointment away from somebody who needed it, and it is reason enough for a clinic to refuse you.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like: ask any clinic you are registered with, or write to us. Closing it removes your access here. It does not delete your medical record, which the clinic has to keep for as long as the law where they practise requires. That is their obligation rather than their choice.

Changes, and which law applies

If we change these terms in a way that matters, the date at the top moves and we tell you before it takes effect. The law that applies is the law of the country you book in, and a dispute about care itself is between you and the clinic. Nothing here takes away a right you have as a consumer or as a patient where you live.
